The purpose of this blog is to document my journey into digital privacy up until now, from deleting my Facebook account several years ago to hosting my own Nextcloud server today.
I am not an IT expert. "The Privacy Dad" is meant to indicate that I am a person who is leading a fairly regular life, while trying to improve my digital privacy and security, both for myself and for my children.
I would like to thank Nathan from The New Oil and Henry from Techlore for suggesting this blog's title in episode 106 of their excellent podcast, Surveillance Report.
